Update Risk Assessment to Risk Management

Vanta has created a new tool within the platform to help your team better manage risk within your company. Update the risk assessment page for risk management and fully utilize the new feature.

 

Update Risk Assessment 

  • From the left-hand navigation panel, you will see Update next to Risk Assessment or Risk Register. Open the page.
  • At the top of the page, a banner will prompt you to update.
  • Select Update 

Depending on your current version of Vanta, you will see option one of three prompts for beginning the update. 

Update Prompt 

Depending on your current version of Vanta, you might see the following prompt to begin the update.

  • You will then be able to
    • Migrate my risk scenarios: Carry over risk scenarios or
    • Wipe my risk scenarios: Do not carry over risk scenarios and start from scratch 
  • Additionally, you can export current scenarios

Update Prompt 

Depending on your current version of Vanta, you might see the following prompt to begin the update.

  • Before the update, you will be prompted to Export risk scores and Export risk tasks. 
    • These exports will not be importable back into Vanta

New Risk Management Page

  • Once the update has been completed, you can utilize the Risk Management tool within Vanta.
