Error: Getting “accounts deprovisioned when employees leave” for Re-Onboarded Active Employee

Environment Details

When an employee is offboarded and returns to Vanta later on, the employee may show up failing the tests, "accounts de-provisioned when employees leave" for different services. 

This is due to the re-onboarded employee's accounts being connected to their previous employee profile:

Resolution

  • Go to the Access page
  • Select service from the dropdown 
  • Search for an employee in the search bar
  • Click Reassign 
  • Select active employee profile from the dropdown 



  • Once reassigned to an active profile, the employee should no longer show on tests for de-provisioned accounts.
