Error: Cannot Sync Policies from Google Drive

After integrating Google Drive, if you are still unable to sync over documents, please verify the following: 

  1. Google Drive is connected and no errors are showing on the integrations page
  2. Verify that there is a shared google drive 
  3. Verify that the policy you are trying to sync is in Google Docs format
    Note: To upload .pdf or .docx files, we suggest using the 'Upload a file from the computer' option
  4. If policies are still failing to show, contact Vanta technical support at
