Error: Cannot Sync Policies from Google Drive

After integrating Google Drive, if you are still unable to sync over documents, please verify the following: 

  1. Google Drive is connected and no errors are showing on the Integrations page

2. Verify that there is a shared Google Drive and that the Vanta user who set up the Google Drive connection in Vanta is shared on the drive:

  1. Verify that the policy you are trying to sync is in Google Docs format
    Note: Currently the Google Drive policy sync integration only supports Google Doc file types. To upload .pdf or .docx files, we suggest using the 'Upload a file from the computer' option
  2. If policies are still failing to show, contact Vanta technical support at support@vanta.com
