How to use the filters on the Documents Page

This is a brief guide on what filters are included on the documents page and how to use them.

 

Overview

In the documents tab, there are 7 different filters you can use to really tailor your search results, these include : 

  • Status
    • Needs Document
    • Needs Update
    • Not Relevant
    • OK
  • Category
    • HR
    • IT
    • Policy
    • Engineering
    • Risks
    • Custom
  • Frequency
    • Renewal no required
    • Renew weekly
    • Renew monthly
    • Renew quarterly
    • Renew bi-annually
    • Renew annually
  • Framework (limited to the Frameworks you have in your Vanta Account, but can include)
    • SOC 2
    • ISO 27001:2022
    • HIPAA
    • GDPR
    • PCI DSS
    • CCPA
    • US Data Privacy
    • NIST 800-171
    • NIST CSF
    • ISO 27701
    • ISO 27017
    • AWS FTR
    • MVSP
    • SOX ITGC
    • CPS AK
    • Custom Frameworks
  • Priority
    • Due Soon
    • Overdue
  • Owner
    • Owner by me
    • Owner unassigned
    • Relevant members of the team

All of these filters you can use in conjunction with the others and really narrow down what you are after.

 

  1. Simply click on the filter you would like to manage
  2. Tick the box for the correct option
  3. There is a clear option button should you need to clear all options ticked.
