How to change which repositories Vanta can see in Github

This article details how to add and remove repositories from monitoring on Vanta.

 

Prerequisites

 

  • Administrator access on GitHub

 

Adding a new Repository 

 

  1. Sign in to GitHub

  2. Click on your profile picture on the top right:




  3. Click on 'Your organizations':




  4. Scroll down and Click Applications:




  5.  Select 'Configure' for Vanta GitHub Integration:




  6. To Add new repositories to monitor in Vanta, click Select Repositories: 




  7. Search for the repository you want to add and then click on it:






  8. Click Save:




Removing a Repository 

 

  1. Sign in to GitHub and click on your profile picture on the top right:


  2. Click on 'Your organizations':




  3. Scroll down and Click Applications:




  4.  Select 'Configure' for Vanta GitHub Integration:




  5. Scroll down to repository access and click the 'X' on the right of the repo you want to withdraw from monitoring in Vanta and click the green 'Save' button:
