Xero allows customers to connect tools like Vanta using oAuth. By connecting your Xero account with Vanta, Vanta is able to make API calls as the connecting user, allowing you to display users in Xero within Vanta under the 'Access' area.

Procedure

• Navigate to the Integrations Page in Vanta and locate the Chathop connector. Click on Connect.

• A pop-up will display letting you know that we use OAuth with Xero in order to connect to and monitor your Xero account for users.

• After clicking on 'Connect Xero' you will be redirected to the Xero site. Login (if needed) and you will then be presented with this authorization screen.

• After clicking 'Allow Access' you will be redirected back to Vants with a successful connect message and the ability to scope in or out users from Xero.

• Once Xero is connected, you can now view imported users by going to the Access page, and changing the dropdown list to Xero.
