Box allows customers to connect tools like Vanta using OAuth. By connecting your Box account with Vanta, Vanta can make API calls as the connecting user, allowing you to display users in Box within Vanta under the Access page.
Integrating with Box
- From the left-hand navigation panel, select Integrations
- Select the Available tab and search for Box
- Select Connect
- a pop-up modal will appear; choose Connect Box
- Vanta will request access to your Box account; select Continue
- If you are not logged in you will be brought to a login page on Box's Website.
- After you log in, you will need to Grant access to Box to connect to Vanta.
- After clicking Grant Access, you should be redirected to Vanta with a success pop-up window.
Configure the Scope
- Establish which Box items should be marked in or out of scope for your audit
- You can configure scopes later by clicking on Configure scope on the connected Box card from the integrations page.
Connection Issues
