Note: Our Jamf integration works with all Jamf Pro accounts! However, Jamf Connect, Jamf Now and Jamf School do not support third-party integrations at the moment.
- Visit https://app.vanta.com/connections to kick off the connection flow.
- Log into your Jamf Pro administrator account. Create a new user that meets Vanta’s requirements: full access, and the Auditor permission set. Hold on to the username/password––you’ll need to add them to Vanta.
- Enter the credentials for this account, along with your *.jamfcloud.com domain, into the Vanta connections flow. Hit “Validate credentials.” You will receive either a confirmation that the credentials are configured correctly or an error message explaining how they’re misconfigured.
One benefit of using this integration is that you do not need to install the Vanta Agent on any machines managed through Jamf. Vanta will detect information directly from Jamf for Mac machines managed by this service. Machines not managed by Jamf should still use the Vanta agent.
