Through the Vanta and Okta integration, you can create a connection to import your employees seamlessly into Vanta and also allow specific users to log in to Vanta through Okta single-sign-on.
Add Vanta to your Okta Account
- To connect successfully to Vanta, the user account that creates that API token needs to have Read-Only Administrator rights to view your Users information within Okta.
- From the Admin Dashboard, select Applications
- Search for Vanta
- Select Add Integration and complete the following prompts
Connect Vanta & Okta
- Open the Integrations page from the left-hand panel
- Click on the Available tab, and select Identity Provider from the service type list, or key in 'Okta' in the search field
- Select Connect
- From here, you will be prompted to provide an API Key.
- Add the API token you have generated, as well as the OKTA domain
- Select Validate & Store
Note: If you would also like to enable SSO for specific users, Do not select 'connect app' on the next page - Follow the below steps first:
- Return to the Okta Admin Dashboard
- Under Applications, click on the Vanta application.
- In the following screen, click on the Sign On tab and then Edit.
- In the following screen, click on the Sign On tab and then Edit.
