Hard disk encryption, especially if you use a mobile device management tool. It's usually as simple as setting up a compliance policy and pushing out that setting.
Authentication tools are a great and easy way that both protects our systems while also making it a little bit easier for our employees to access them. Utilizing a 2FA authentication with G-Workspace has helped me feel a bit more protected, requires minimal effort and helps to ensure that only employees have access to company data.
Back-up your data on regular basis! I can't recommend it enough, it gives you the peace of mind that if anything happens, you will be back up & running in no time.
