  • Antivirus software must be configured to detect and prevent or quarantine malicious software, perform periodic system scans, and have automatic updates enabled.

    Absolutely- this policy references antivirus software that is used to help protect your assets from malicious viruses. A few tips: 

    • For Mac computers, Xprotext is fine, and another antivirus is not required.
    • For any Windows machines, use some sort of antivirus software (e.g. McAfee, Symantec etc.). Using some sort of antivirus protection that runs periodic scans is helpful.
