Enabling or Disabling Vanta AI

Vanta AI features, powered by third-parties, help you work faster and smarter. With Vanta AI enabled, you unlock the ability to accelerate security reviews, streamline compliance processes, and complete questionnaires in minutes with auto-generated answers.

Using Vanta AI features is voluntary. Admins or Editors can enable or disable the usage of Vanta AI features for all users within an account. For accounts with the Workspaces feature, this setting is managed for each workspace separately.

Vanta AI setting

To enable or disable Vanta AI:

  • In the upper-right corner of your account, click the gear icon to go to your account settings.

  • In the Advanced tab, use the toggle to enable or disable Vanta AI.

    • Enable Vanta AI: With Vanta AI enabled, you have access to the Vanta AI features available on your plan, and the third-party services that power those features can process your data.

    • Disable Vanta AI: When you disable Vanta AI, you will no longer have access to Vanta AI-powered features, and we immediately stop processing your data through those third-party services.
