How it works
Miradore is a device trust and compliance platform that verifies devices meet your organization’s security policies before granting access to applications and resources.
Vanta’s connects to Miradore and synchronizes device compliance data on an hourly schedule. This enables Vanta to continuously evaluate device posture and compliance status as reported by Miradore.

Verify that only compliant devices have access to organizational resources

Requirements
To connect this integration, you must have:
An Administrator account with access to the Miradore Admin console
Connect the integration
In your Vanta dashboard, locate the Miradore integration and click View details.
Click Connect to open the integration modal. This will redirect you to a guided setup flow for connecting Miradore.
Vanta will prompt you to enter:
An API token
Your Organization Name
These credentials are required to authenticate with the Miradore API and make requests through the device compliance API.
Generate an API token in Miradore
If you do not already have an API token with the required permissions, you can create one in your Miradore dashboard:
Select Systems. Then click on Infrastructure diagram and scroll down to the API section:
Click Create Key to configure a new API token. No special write permissions are required.
Enter a name for the token and click Next.
Copy the generated API key, then click Create Key at the bottom of the page to finalize the token creation.
Retrieve your organization name
Your organization name can be found in your Miradore dashboard URL.
For example:
In this example, the organization name is:

Complete the connection
Copy your API Token and Organization Name into the corresponding fields in Vanta.
Click Validate and Store to submit your credentials.
If configured correctly, you will see a confirmation message indicating that the integration was successfully connected.
Permissions
The Miradore integration provides read-only access to your environment. Vanta does not create, modify, or delete any data in Miradore.
Data access scope
Vanta can access the following data:
Device data
Device compliance status and related details
Device posture information
Vanta does not have write permissions and cannot update any data in Miradore.

FAQ
Invalid API token
This error may occur if the API token entered in Vanta is incorrect, which prevents authentication with the Miradore API.
To resolve this issue:
Confirm that the API token was copied correctly
Verify that the token is still valid
Generate a new API token if necessary
Additionally, ensure that your Miradore subscription includes API access. API functionality is available only with the Premium plan.
