Configuring Tag Settings
Trust Center tags help you organize and segment your content by product, business line, deployment type, or any category that makes sense for your team. You can apply tags across all major Trust Center content types, including compliance frameworks, controls, FAQs, resources, updates, and subprocessors. This ensures visitors only see the content that is relevant to them and improves filtering and chatbot responses.
Create your tags from your account settings page and apply tags to resources accordingly.
In your account header, click the Settings icon.
In the Settings page menu, scroll to the Features section, select Customer trust, and go to the Tags tab.
In the Show on Trust Center field, select the relevant tag categories you want to be shown on your Trust Center for filtering.
Tag Content in the Trust Center
To tag controls
Go to Trust Center, select Edit, then open Controls. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit controls. Choose the controls you want to update. Open the three dot menu and add or remove tags within a category.
To tag compliance frameworks
Go to Trust Center, select Edit, then open Compliance. Select the framework you want to update, click the pencil icon, and apply the appropriate tags.
To tag FAQs
Go to Trust Center, select Edit (pencil icon), then open FAQs. Select the FAQ you want to update and apply tags in the Tags section.
To tag resources
Go to Trust Center, select Edit, then open Resources. Select a resource and apply tags before saving.
To tag subprocessors
Go to Trust Center, select Edit, then open Subprocessors. Select a subprocessor and apply tags.
Please note: Tags must be created in your Settings before they can be applied to content.
Grant Access to Resources by Tags
Go to the Customer Trust > Overview page and click Give Access.
Enter the recipients, access expiration, and NDA requirement.
For resources, click Select resources to share and select tags based on what you want to share.
Users can remove individual resources even if tied to the selected tags
Optionally, you can select additional resources that may not be tied to the selected tags.
Click Give Access, and the recipients will receive a request via e-mail.
Filtering from the Trust Center
From the Trust Center Overview tab, select View or open the URL of your Trust Center.
From the Trust Center, you can filter by tag.
