You can preview audits in Vanta to see what your auditor will have access to before scheduling an audit or even granting auditors access. To do this, you'll need to create an audit in your account. Feel free to create an audit as a test to understand auditor access and delete it once you're done.
In some cases, the audit preview shows the auditor's experience directly, while in others it allows you to configure what is visible:
Request list type | Steps to preview |
Default request list (most common) | The preview shows the auditor view directly:
|
The preview allows you to see what's shared from within the request list:

Previewing audits is especially helpful to see all the your controls and supporting evidence (tests, documents and policies) that need action or are pending review from your auditor. See this article for more information on what information auditors are able to see from tests.
