Connecting Vanta & Google Drive

  • Updated

Google Drive uses OAuth to authorize Vanta to monitor your account.

By connecting Google Drive, Vanta is able to automate the synchronization of your company policies  and documents.

In order to prevent unauthorized access to private files, Vanta only syncs Google Docs from shared drives that are name Vanta Documents and Vanta policies (these folder names are case sensitive) respectively. This means Vanta will not be able to sync personal files from Google Drive.

Vanta's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
