Blocking Trust Center Access Requests by Domain or Country

If there are specific domains or countries that your organization would like to block from requesting access to your Trust Center content, you can do so from your Trust Center settings.

⚙️ User permissions: Trust Admins, Editors, Admins, and custom roles with Trust Centers editing permissions can manage Trust Center settings. Learn more: User Permissions by Product Area

Getting started

Domain blocking matches the requester’s email domain. Country blocking matches the requester’s location.

  • Both apply to access requests for a private Trust Center and requests for gated content on a public Trust Center. Neither applies to content that’s publicly accessible without an access request.

  • When a requester from a blocked domain or country submits an access request, they receive a confirmation that their request was sent, but it’s automatically denied in the background.

  • Denied requests don’t appear in your active Access Requests queue. You’ll find them in Request History, labeled Blocked domain or Blocked country, depending on which rule applied.

  • Blocking applies only to new access requests. It does not remove access for people you’ve already approved, and it takes precedence over auto-approval rules.

Blocked countries

You can block Trust Center access requests from specific countries. Visitors from a blocked country can still subscribe to updates from your Trust Center.

To add a country to your block list:

  1. In your account header, click the Settings icon and select Customer Trust from the page menu.

  2. Go to the Trust Center tab and scroll to the Blocked countries section.

  3. Click + Block countries.

  4. Select the countries you want to block—you can search by name or code.

  5. Click Block to confirm.

ℹ️ Note: Location is based on the requester’s IP address, so it may not always be accurate. If a requester’s location can’t be determined, their request is not blocked.
