Editing SLAs in Vanta

In Vanta, SLAs can be set for account access revocation, vulnerabilities, security tickets, onboarding, account setup, computer setup, infrastructure setup, and software development.

  • Changes to an SLA deadline will be applied to new items only. Historical and currently open items will be held to the SLA deadline that was active at the time the item was originally detected.

Editing SLAs

  • Navigate to either the Tests or Policies pages

  • Click the three-dot button, located on the top right of either the tests or policies page

  • Additionally, SLAs can be access from the settings page, by clicking the gear icon at the top-right hand corner.

  • SLAs will be listed on this page, from here you can click into any SLA to edit.

When clicking into an SLA, you will be able to view associated tests and the SLA history.

  • To edit an SLA, select the three-dot menu, and click Edit SLA

  • To change the SLA associated with a test, select the three-dot menu next to the specific test, and choose Change SLA. From here, you can adjust the SLA category.


Onboarding/Offboarding SLAs

Onboarding-related SLAs can also be edited in your settings:

  • In your account header, click the Settings icon.

  • In the Settings page menu, scroll to the Features section, select Personnel, and go to the SLAs tab.

  • From here you can adjust onboarding and offboarding SLAs.
