Vanta Agent

Supported Operating Systems for the Vanta Agent

The Vanta Agent is supported in the following operating systems:

  • MacOS 11 and higher
  • Windows 10 and 11 (Must be 64-bit)
  • Debian 10 and higher (excluding "testing" versions)
  • Ubuntu 18.04 and higher
    • Ubuntu flavors such as Lubuntu and Xubuntu are supported by the Vanta agent, on the condition that the device supports a unique hardware UUID available in /sys/class/dmi/id/product_uuid

The Vanta Agent does not support Windows DataCenter or other Windows Server OSs. For more information on handling unsupported operating systems, please see this article.
