How to add a start date for background check requirements

To exclude employees who were employed before a certain date from the background check requirement in Vanta, under the checklist settings, a date can be set for employees that start after a certain date where they will be required to complete a background check.



  1. Go to Checklists
  2. Select desired checklist 
  3. Go to the Complete background check section 
  4. Select and add a start date
  5. Click Save checklist
