With Vanta Trust Center, admins can gate confidential documentation, such as a SOC 2 report, security report, or a previously filled-out questionnaire. This will allow individuals, potential customers, and clients to request access to your Trust Center, but it requires their signature on an NDA first- keeping your information private and secure. As a Vanta admin, you can decide how to send or not send NDAs.
Prerequisites
NDAs will only be available when users need to request access to your Trust Center or Trust Center documents. For public Trust Centers, you must configure sensitive documents to be "Requestable" for the NDA to be enforced. Private Trust Center access will require an NDA.
Adding your NDA to Vanta
Navigate to Settings under the Customer Trust tab
Click on Set up
Select the DocuSign account you would like to utilize, followed by the appropriate NDA template.
Select Save
Approving Access
When approving access to your Trust Center, admins can then approve or deny access to requests from the Vanta platform. When you approve, you can request that the recipient sign an NDA before they can view the documents.
After approval, the customer will receive an email from DocuSign and be required to accept the NDA.
