The My Work page in Vanta provides a single, centralized view of the work that needs your attention. It displays a prioritized list of tasks assigned directly to you or to your teams, helping you quickly identify and act on what matters most.

Please note: For users with the Collaborator role or custom roles, My Work will be their default landing page. For users with Admin and Editor roles, the Vanta home dashboard will continue to be their landing page, but they will also have access to My Work from the side navigation panel.

My Work Page

  • The 'My Work' page can be accessed upon login for collaborator roles, or by selecting My work from the left-hand navigation panel.

Task Grouping

Tasks are grouped into clear categories, with those ranked urgent at the top.

  • Urgent: Overdue or needs remediation

  • Due soon: Tasks approaching their due date

  • No due date: No due date assigned

  • Pending someone else: the task is currently waiting on someone else’s action

Clicking into a specific item will bring you to a task specific view of the page. For example, if you have three documents that need remediation, clicking into that item will bring you to a filtered view of the documents page detailing your assignments.

Visible Tasks

These assignments will be visible from the My Work page:

  • Program elements that you or any teams you belong to own or approve, where action is needed

    • Note: the team feature is available in the Growth package and above. Learn more here.

  • Vanta tasks (linked to risks or issues)

  • Personal security & compliance tasks (e.g., onboarding tasks such as policy adherence, installing a mobile device monitor, completing security tasks)

  • Pending items (e.g., policies awaiting approval by others)

Filtering Tasks

  • By task type:

Quick filters:

  • Needs my approval

  • Assigned to me

  • Assigned to my teams

If a user belongs to a team, tasks assigned to the team will also appear.
