Vanta's integration with Jira lets you quickly create and assign issues to your team. When making a ticket, you may encounter an error in the Unsupported Required Fields.
You'll see this error if you create tickets in a Jira project with more required fields than the default. Vanta can't fetch and populate these fields from JIRA, preventing us from making the ticket. We're working on addressing this, but in the meantime, we recommend two solutions:
- Change these fields to optional in your project
- Create a separate project for Vanta tickets and create tickets there instead
